Experience

 

Work Experience

Currently I work as a freelance interpreter for Courts, Police, Medical, Commercial and Community institutions.

In 2005 I started working with "Big Word" for the Department of Work and Pensions and its counterpart in the USA to provide telephone interpreting services in Romanian and French in areas such as: medical, social services, interviews for National Insurance Number, Benefits, immigration and police issues.

 

• In 1996 I started work for Bostico Press. I have started as junior part-time staff and after one year I was offered a full time position. My duties involved translation and interpreting for business as well as conference interpreting. In 2001 I left the company.

1999 I started working on a freelance basis. My specialised fields are: Commercial/Business, Technical/engineering (locomotive, boating, etc), Financial/banking, Correspondence, Legal/Patents.
